 I created an elevated structure in architectural design for this project, in which I applied the knowledge learned in the first class.
Then spread it out to establish the faces of the polygon
Comparing and controlling the size of polygons using size values
Finally, combine them together

After seeing the mechanics shown by the instructors, it reminded me of the "Dragon Dance", a traditional event that takes place every year in China during the New Year. This did help a little with the operation of the mechanism.

I think the biggest challenge this assignment has brought me is the challenge of English listening. In Grasshopper, most of the vocabulary is unfamiliar to me, so it is challenging to keep up with the pace in class. But this assignment also gave me a clearer understanding of Grasshopper's basic theory. I have been thinking for a long time about the design of this assignment, how to make the finished product look less strange or inexplicable when it undergoes deformation. In the end, I decided to make this glass cup.
